How to Save Hundreds of Dollars on International Flights

by: Sandy Ingram

Most airlines sell thousands of seats to Wholesalers and Consolidators at a fraction of the price they charge you. These Wholesalers and Consolidators offer deep discounts that can save you up to 35% off regular airfare prices - request a quote from T360  for Coach, First Class and  Business Class.

Consolidators purchase air seats in blocks at wholesale prices directly from the airlines.  Be sure that the consolidator is reliable and reputable.  The highest standards in the Industry are set by the United States Air Consolidators Association. (USACA)

These same consolidators then mark-up the cost, (usually a very low mark-up) and resell to the public through online travel hubs, agencies, land based agencies, fax distributors and in some cases directly to the general public.

These fares are called "unpublished airfares" and companies who provide these tickets to the general public add their mark-up, (usually very small and sell directly to you the consumer.

These airfares change from minute to minute and are based upon demand.  Its like an "Airfare Stock Market"

Very few companies can afford to up date the airfares online through out the day.  Its just too time consuming.  So when clients need a ticket, consolidators get the rate directly from the wholesaler and relay the information to the client.  Any delay in the purchase results in a lost of the airfare at the quoted price.

Online Consolidators who set up fixed rates for consolidated airfares can save you money.  However, the Airfare Broker that researches each request, usually can  provide an even greater savings.
